GED

The GED test battery is a high school equivalency test. The current GED test series consists of four separate exams. The cost for each test is $30.00 and each test is paid for and taken separately. The test subjects are Reasoning through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies. The test is administered on the computer and must be taken at an official Pearson Vue Testing Site. Test takers must be at least 17 years of age and obtain an age waiver, if under 19 years of age before testing. Testers must also create an account on ged.com before they can sign-up to take the tests. Roosevelt Community School is a certified Pearson Vue GED Test Center. GED Preparation is free.

Owatonna ABE offers free GED test preparation classes September through May.
